The web site for the Chicago Marathon claims that the course map will be published mid-summer. Uh, aren't we there already? Anyone have any insight as to why it's taking so long?
The course map is available on the website; right here: <a href="http://chicagomarathon.com/page_L2.aspx?subMenu=3&Page_ID=98&Nav_2_ID=301&Page_Title=Course%20Information" target="_blank">http://chicagomarathon.com/page_L2.a...;20Information</a>
Yeah, but it says it's for 2006. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile">
I can't imagine it will change much, either, but I'm putting together a wrist thingy with the street progression and mileage to wear during the race. It's not pressing but I'm wondering what could be taking so long. Oh, well...
It doesn't even appear to officially be part of the site yet. You got some connects? <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">
They just relaunched the site and sent an e-mail out about it. Everyone should be able see the new site, though. <a href="http://www.chicagomarathon.com" target="_blank">http://www.chicagomarathon.com</a>
Ok, yeah, but before it was the IP address instead of chicagomarathon.com that preceded everything. This site is a huge improvement over the older one!
