ROCK THE CASBAH PEOPLE! IT"S MY TURN!!!!!!!!<br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;">1. <b>Why do you run?</b></span><br><div style="text-align:left;"><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">When I began running, I was doing it to get rid of some candy that decided to migrate into my thighs and butt and I knew running produced nice results as I had done it before, but now it’s so much more. There’s this sense of accomplishment and believing in myself that I have gotten from running that has migrated into the rest of my life. Anything is possible. I run because it is the physical manifestation of facing my challenges in life. Running makes me a better person in all areas of my life.</span></span></div>
<br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">2. <b>What is your greatest accomplishment</b>?</span></span><br><div style="text-align:left;"><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">With running??? Probably making it through training for a half marathon in the</span></span> <span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Texas</span></span> <span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">summer. Next year it will be training for a marathon in the</span></span> <span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Texas</span></span><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">summer. Why</span></span> <span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">San Antonio</span></span> <span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">holds a marathon in November I don’t know…but if I make it through the summer, I’m gonna ROCK THE CASBAH! In my life, my greatest accomplishments are having good kids (for the most part) and getting accepted into Texas A&M.</span></span></div>
<br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">3. <b>What is your motto/theme song?</b></span></span><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Motto is “I AM SUPERGIRL” (I even have a pink supergirl tattoo) Theme song is “Rock the Casbah”</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">4. <b>How do you deal with bad runs?</b></span></span><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">I just accept that you can’t have good runs all the time…it’s just one of those things…but when you make it through those bad runs it’s great.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">5. <b>Do you reward yourself for good runs? How?</b></span></span><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">No…I just like the feeling of really good runs. I like the high.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">6. <b>Who do you admire most?</b></span></span><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">In running? My coach. I never knew people ran like that before. Plus, he’s got this laid back and yet serious attitude towards running. He’s disciplined without being anal…he’s got a good balanced approach. In life…I admire anyone who sticks up for what they believe in (even if I disagree with it)</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">7. <b>What is the greatest advice you have ever received?</b></span></span><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">In running? SLOW THE F*CK DOWN! In life? WAIT. (patience is not my virtue)</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">8. <b>What do wish you had learned younger?</b></span></span><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">The value of an education.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">9. <b>What do you wish you could do but can't?</b></span></span><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">I never think of something as “I CAN’T DO IT”. It may be really difficult. I may not do it well. But I honestly believe that anything is possible.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">10. <b>How would your friends describe your personality?</b></span></span><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Weird, opinionated, adventurous, stubborn, determined, hopefully my friends think I’m nice because my enemies think I’m a royal bitch!</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">11. <b>What do you wear running? favorite outfit?</b></span></span><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">I wear clothes cause I don’t think people would appreciate me running naked! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink"> Favorite running outfit is probably my running skirt and a white wife beater tank top, or my black shorts and red sports bra.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">12. <b>What has been your favorite race?</b></span></span><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Man…Vermont Half Marathon was fun to run because of the crowd support, Bayou City Classic 10k was fun because of the weird characters running, Ten for Texas was nice because it was organized and a nice route…I can’t say one was my favorite over another…not yet anyway</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">13. <b>Do you have a goal race right now?</b></span></span><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Yep, San Antonio Rock N Roll</span></span> <span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Marathon</span></span> <span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">in 08</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">14. <b>What makes you happy?</b></span></span><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Good food, good friends, good wine!</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">15. <b>Tell us one interesting thing about you that you haven't said (at least not often) on this forum in the past.</b></span></span><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">I don’t know if this qualifies as interesting or weird but I have an extra bone in my right foot…very small…you’d never notice it if you weren’t a doctor. On the not so weird side, but people seem interested by this…I am going to Texas A&M to get my degree in Anthropology to become an Archaeologist.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">16. <b>Tell us one interesting thing about another user of this forum that has not been posted (at least not often) on this forum in the past (make sure the other person will not object to posting the info!).</b></span></span><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">The only interesting things I know about other users of this forum, that haven’t been posted already, would be considered top secret, so I’ll have to keep my mouth shut…Sorry guys.</span></span>

Grizzly, thanks. Anthropology has always fascinated me as long as I can remember. May not make much at it, but i'll be doing something I love. I HOPE!<br><br>
What was I doing in Vermont??? GOOD QUESTION! Talk about a fish out of water! HAHAHA I was running in the KeyBank Marathon as part of a relay team. I met most of the running moms there. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy"> It was fun!
