I see I'm assigned a title of "trainee" under my picture while others have other titles. I have peeked at the profile fields that I'm allowed to update but I don't see where I change this.<br><br>
Can someone point me what is likely in front of me that I can't see? It's a male thing to look and not see - like asking directions when lost. <img alt="icon_salut.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/icon_salut.gif"><br><br>

Pithy-- it is in your user CP. Trainee is designated to you based on how many posts you have, the more post, the higher up the ranks you go. There are other user titles that are acquired through other means like winning VRAA, etc. Also, if you refer 10 or more people to the site, then you get a custom title like i have. Hope that helps.

I think any title more suits you than trainee --it makes me laugh out loud to read the 'trainee' title under your name....since you are one of the wiser,more experienced ultra-ironmen around!

Blush, blush. I wasn't looking to brandish any real or implied set of credentials with the field but some one liner that may have implied senile lore and humor. Somehow trainee seems to miss the mark. makes me want to ask, "fries with that burger?" Anywho, I'll let my posts stand or fall on their content and will offer an explanation in any reply.<br><br>
It's an incredible sport with so many ways to approach it. I've done my share of good and bad over the 20 years at this game. It doesn't make me any wiser or corrcet then anyone but does provide some foundation for any view I take. I tend to be more conservative with advice, not because aggresive behavior is bad but all to often leads to injury and burnout. Think more like the Energizer Bunny and not the roadrunner.<br><br>
And my convoluted humor seems too ooze out. I will get this ^%$# spell checker working if it kills me, cuz I dont spel two gud when I tipe quik.
