New thread for a new week. Everyone posted up amazing points for our first week, lets keep that rolling! We're definitely a team to be reckoned with in this round.

On the plate for me today is a 6.5ish mile run. I'm going to run home from work for the first time. I'm kinda excited to see this route that I drive so often in a new light.

Great job on the races and bonus points this weekend!

morning gang, supposed to do 6 today. my legs are really tired after last week's personal record in mileage (55 miles in 7 days). those 6 may turninto 5 running and 1 walking to rest up a bit. I will be a little light during the week on running points (I think I have 15-18 miles scheduled between now and Friday), but I have a 22 mile run scheduled for this weekend so it will be a solid week of points when all is said and done.

oh and I have now stretched two days in a row for a few extra points. I make note of this because I do not stretch...ever...you guys have inspired me to take 5-10 minnutes after a run to work on it...so to each of you I say thanks!

have a nice day everyone...

I did about 5 minutes of stretching yesterday. My quads were and still are sore, but not as bad as they were yesterday. Since little bro came by unexpectedly, I wasn't able to get my core workout in as planned. Today, I have run 5 miles. Tonight I have a one hour weight lifting workout to do. Then I'll post my points. Have great runs and xtrns today everyone!

Hi Team and thanks for starting the new thread Intensebeet!

This week I have a fairly heavy week (heavy for me that is). I'm scheduled to do 36 miles with my long run on saturday being 18 miles. Today is a scheduled rest day for me but will get in some stretching/abs/pushups, since I didn't do any yesterday. Then I'm scheduled to run Tues, Wed, Thurs, rest on Friday, long run on Sat, and Sunday will be a rest day as well.

I was scheduled for 9 this morning, but my feet don't like the long runs and my right foot is sore. I hopped on the bike for 30 minutes and will try to get back on tonight and do some yoga and/or strength. Tomorrow is x-training day, but if my foot feels better I will run instead. I think I need shoes with more cushioning in the front.

Andi-- I hope all goes well with the foot. I myself think I might have shin splints or something. Let's do what we can to stay healthy. Rest, Ice cross train and such. Have a great day. It also could be that I just need to rest etc.. Might go swimming today instead of running.

6 miles today (1 mile walk and 5 miles on the TM for some speedwork) and 1 1/2 hour yoga class. I feel nice and refreshed!

Andi and Kevin - hope your feet and shins are feeling better soon!
Dom - Yay for starting to stretch!!!

This weekend I will have my longest run ever - 15 miles. I am a bit nervous about it, especially since I will be away. I tried to go to mapmyrun to see if anyone had anything posted in that area, but nothing with written directions. I guess I will just run 7.5 out and then head back.

Great job everyone!

2.9 miles wallk/jog today, very easy; 10 minutes stretching

stiffish from yesterday; blaming it on the fall. (Couldn't possibly be from overdoing, now, could it?)

A good week to all...

I decided that I am going to not run until wednesday and swim today and tomorrow. It is a low mileage week anyway and I can get my miles in on wed-sat. So here is what I did today.

1300 yds swimming.

20 minutes of stretching out the sore left calf.

Have a great evening everyone.

Today's a traditional rest day, but walked 3 miles with me DW.
This team is hanging tough.
I wish weren't so beaten up, and I be putting more points on the board.
I have a HM trail, an M (training purpose's only) and a 50k trail before the end of April.
So, I should be nearing my peak, instead, I have to heal first. Such is reality.
Speaking of healing...I nearly face planted on my run today. Tore up my knee a little bit and scuffed my hands, but at least I didn't fall in front of traffic. Luckily I was just about a mile from home, and I got myself up and running again. 6.5 miles, my longest run to date and I'm thinking that my goal time I've set for myself in my upcoming 10k will be doable. Yay. After that bit of celebration I went inside and performed gravel extraction surgery on my knee. Ouch. Some core and weights for a few extra points tonight as well.

We've got a good lead on second right now, though Team G just keeps stacking up the points in first...

I only got in a bit of stretching and abs tonight. It's been a busy night here at home, helping my son with homework, working on this yearbook, dinner, etc.

I input AlaMichele's points for her. She earned some good points with a 12 mile and 4 mile run! YAY Ala! How's your training feel? ready for your HM?

We are doing so well!

Good morning team! My foot is still bothering me a bit. I got up early and did 60 minutes on the bike. I was supposed to get 36 points for running yesterday so I will try to get some more tonight. Maybe I will ride again? We'll see.

Intensebeet - nice job on the new distance. Ouch on the knee. When is your 10K? I've never done one of those.

I am hoping to get more swimming done today. We shall se how the calf feels later today. Then hopefully I can return to running tomorrow. That is the plan. I guess I just need to loosen up the calf muscle and go from there. Have a great day everyone and keep up the great running and such.

Left leg still unhappy overnight, so 1000 yards swimming today; stretch & core, and only 1/4 mile walk.

Cut my cardio a little short today since the knee is giving me a little trouble from the fall yesterday, did my weights/core routine too. My leg is lots of interesting colors today though.
