Hey all~!<br><br>
This is it Team - we are down to the final few days. So, let's give it what we've got and keep ourselves competitive this week!<br><br>
Did everyone claim their 5 bonus points for running this weekend?<br><br>

I put this in last week's thread but will cross post it here for Becca<br><br>
Becca-pure dumb luck that I noticed this. I was making sure I put my friday points in and sorted by date for our team to do it. I was looking at all of our weekend points (great weekend btw team) and saw that you had nothing entered for saturday (3/29).<br><br>
you ran like 15 I think that day didn't you or am I thinking of someone else entirely?<br><br>
like i said, dumb luck that I noticed

I just went to look at that Korbel and it was just entered on the wrong date, so I edited it for the 29th. It was entered in as a double entry on the 13th.<br><br>
thanks for picking up on that though!

My feet hurt. I underestimated how tough hiking through sand would be. I figured it was flat, couldn't be as bad as hiking the AT, right....Apparently my boots while fabulous on rocky uneven terrain are not meant for sandy flat south jersey terrain. Anyway over the course of the weekend I got in about 25 miles and some stretching and such. I will catch up with everything else later.

man this VRAA is good for me...<br><br>
fell asleep next to my daughter after reading to her at bed...woke up and drug my butt back down stairs to the TM to get my miles in. no way I do that if we are not in the heat of this thing!

I need a thrashing, for I did not a thing last night . . . came home, made dinner, helped DS with homework, cleaned up a bit, watched the telly and was in bed by about 10 p.m.<br><br>
I'm heading to the gym at lunch time though for 5 miles and it's supposed to be nice and sunny out today, so will probably take my dogs for a walk when I get home too.

I have a beautiful heart shaped blister on the bottom of my foot and I think I might lose my first ever toenail so no running for me today I think. Some yoga and weights and hopefully a run tomorrow. Great work on points this weekend everyone!

Hey intense! We have a dermatologist doc on our masters forum and she has been asking for photos of any type of running injuries, rashes, etc. for a seminar she's giving on skin care & injuries, etc. for athletes. I know she would love a photo of a heart shaped blister and black toenails are always welcome! (i have right now too as a result of my 18 mile run). If you are so inclined, you could take a pic of those and email them to her. let me know if you are interested and I'll forward you her email.

Met with trainer, who taught me all sorts of wierd things to do... like hand-cranking while bicycling with the right leg...<br><br>
30 minutes cardio, 45 minutes stretching, therabands ("well, yes, that IS hard... try to work up to that one"<img alt="wink.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif">, and weights.<br><br>
Ahh.. a blessing to do something.
