Hey Team! I thought I'd start up a new thread for us this week.<br><br>
This is my *cutback* week on the Marathon training schedule, but will still be getting in at least 31 miles, plus some xtraining since it's a lower mileage week for me.<br><br>
We did absolutely awesome over the weekend everyone! Thanks to ALL of you for doing what you were able to do on what was probably a busy weekend for most folks. And if you did any swimming on Friday - Sunday, please remember to count your 5 bonus points.<br><br>
Let's keep the momentum going Team!!

So for me today... 30 minutes of alt and then 5.30 miles of running and walking. I think I have decided that I need lots of stretching and such to keep the calf from bothering me again. I was able to have an enjoyable run with 66 degree temperatures. Keep up the good work everyone.

Crap, we are in 4th????<br><br>
This week is swimming, swimming, and more swimming again. I feel bad that I cannot rack up huge points right now.<br><br>
I get to swim at the Ohio State Aquatics Center on Friday!!! Going to Ohio to see my sister and then to Michigan for a wedding this weekend.

18 min running in water = 6 points (I'd rather be on the XX track...)<br>
700 yards swimming = 7 points<br>
5 min. stretching = 1 point

How are you feeling Chosha? This flu stuff is pretty nasty this year - hope you are on the upswing!<br><br>
MMom - nice workout - how did your foot feel during the pool running? bother you at all?<br><br>
I ran 5 mi during my lunch hr, plus walked 1/4 mile. I'll get in more tonight, but I've added my 21 pts so far. Last night after work, I took my dogs for a walk and did yoga stretches and ab work. I logged those points in even though I never mentioned it here or the daily. I forgot.<br><br>
I think we are currently sitting in 4th, but 2nd, 3rd and 4th places are all real tight together. And we have a few members we haven't heard from in a couple days, so we might have some unaccounted for points that are yet to be entered.<br><br>
Hey - this weekend's bonus points are "running!" <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"> I think we'll all get those!

This is a high mileage week for me - I am scheduled for 50 - yikes! I may swap some of that for cycling, but will make sure it is equal pointwise. and I will try to do yoga as many nights as possible. Tonight I am going to do it while watching the biggest loser. I am addicted to that show for some reason - kind of like watching a train wreck, you just can't look away.

Hello everyone. I have not put in my workout for the day. Today I had 4 miles of running and 20 minutes of alt. The rest of the week looks busy for me Though. I am going to try to get in a track workout tomorrow before a storm moves iin for Wednesday night/Thursday morning. I should have 25 miles running and some swimming on Friday. Keep up the great work and we should be in great shape for the overall standings.

6 miles running and another 1.25 walking plus 10 minutes stretching tonight.<br><br>
on my way to the scoring site next to post 31 points.<br><br>
14-16 this weekend plus two more days running yet this week.<br><br>
great job gang, this is a close one for sure!!

You all are amazing... we're back in third (and it's relatively close!)<br><br>
Thank heavens for VRAA... pool time has some feedback for my competitive soul. (Thanks for asking, Tam... I think I did about as much as I could get away with... but it really felt good to get in some exercise.)

I put in another 30 min of alternate workout this evening (stretch/yoga/abs/pushups), total points today 27.
