I have a lumbar camelbak that I hate. I can never seem to get it in the right place and it hikes up my shorts. I've tried fuelbelt with similar problems. I've tried hand-held, but those throw off my balance. So, I'm wanting to try a different camelback. Suggestions on which to try?
i've had no problem with the camelback in the summer, i wore it during a 50 miler and 100 miler in pretty hot weather this past summer. But i am not that easily bothered by heat. I found it less irritating than the sweaty handheld.
I have the Charm, which supposedly holds 50oz, but i do not think it holds that much, but it does hold a fair amount. Its small enough, light enough and high enough on my back that it does not bother me like my old, heavier pack did. There is only a tiny storage pocket on it, but heck, i wear race readys anyways.
