Not the seed company.

These are things meant to turn your whole body into a quivering mass of jelly.

http://www.rosstraining.com/articles/burpeeclip.htm

Remember, to get the full evil of the burpee, do the push up and jump as high as you can with your arms up into the air.

The clip is fast. Start slow and work your way up to the faster, eviller ones.

Burpees are sooo hard. One of my exercise DVDs has those at the end when I already feel like I am going to die.

I think I'll try for 50 burpees again on Friday, try to improve my time over Tuesday's effort. My plan for the next time is to see about doing 10 as fast as I can, then rest until the 1 minute mark, do another 10, rest until the 2 minute mark. I hope maybe doing it that way will let me get it down towards the 5 minute mark. Once I get to 50 in 5 minutes, then I'll try going for 60 in 6 minutes and so on until I reach 100 burpees in less than 10 minutes.

May I ask, which dvd is it? I need to add to my small collection- for the days I wake up early and don't want to go to the gym.

I didn't get to do a 50 burpee challenge Friday night, but I should be able to give them a whack tonight. Not sure how my legs will feel about that after a 5-mile race yesterday, walking and golfing 18 holes after that, then getting up early this morning to do squats and deadlifts.

Well my new plan plus the shock value of some more intense conditioning paid off. 50 burpees in under 5 minutes, 4:47 to be more exact.

Next week we'll see if I can do 60 in less than 6 minutes and we'll see if I puke in the process. uke:

Thanks. I plan on getting up 30 minutes early each workday in order to get the ol' blood pumping. These things might do the trick.

I did 30 of these last night.

By the end, I could barely get up off the floor, much less do a proper push-up.

My WH mag that I got last night had these in them, except you are doing the pushup part on a bosu ball, round side down. Sheee-it. I may try that little workout (the whole WH one) tonight.

We'll see. I'm scared.
