And I think I'm coming down with something... a bad attitude, mostly.... so maybe it IS the weather....

My plan this morning was to get out with the Yaktrax before the snow turned to freezing rain and sleet. But then my mom called, asking would I take her to her doctor's appointment... long story short, the appointment was for NEXT week.... so yeah, bad attitude happening here, big time... along with Olympic levels of peanut butter eating....

Well, OM, it could have been worse..... at least the appointment wasn't for LAST week!!

An easy spin class and core work this morning seems to have snapped me somewhat out of my lethargy.

Just in time for tonight and tomorrow's snowfall.

Will work from home tomorrow, which will make running dicey, as we have no TM.

Stay out of the snowbanks, kids!!

I'm bummed for all the bummed-out. Bummer man. I suppose it would be cruel to mention what our weather is like. Suffice to say, I'm driving my convertible.

Will RAW. Eight miles hopefully. Shorts and long sleeved t-shirt (maybe short sleeved...?). I'm sure we'll pay later for the nice weather we're having. We always do.

Rather a lot of bums in here today

Here in the cold UK I started my day with 78 minutes on the turbo including 3 x 20 minute efforts. LOTS OF PAIN

Easy run at lunchtime to get annoyed at the bank who messed me around big style

Easy run this evening so all in all a solid day.

No swim though as MrsG still has issues

Take care and stay positive out there

Hi convertible driving with the heat on, windows up, and snow falling Lab

Hi Heme

TW, My dad sure knows how you feel. He will never willingly retire (he is a car mechanic) and he just turned 70 last month. Last week, he did something to put his hip out of place and wrenched his knee and he has not worked since. He may work in the future but for right now, the decision was made for him. He is the type that never missed a day of work in about 35 years so he will probably find a way back.

I pushed the pace on my hour on the treadmill today. Ended up with 7.75 miles (7:44 pace) at 3% incline and 1235 ft elevation gain. Last 30 minutes at about 7:25 pace.

Smiles are good. I finally smiled this evening... took me long enough, though... rode the bike to nowhere for 60 minutes, then ran 3 miles on the TM. Tomorrow will be a better day, for sure. :)

Walked 3 miles on the treadmill tonight... still walking, dreaming of running, but still walking.

Talked to my dad a couple of days ago, and he was all excited that he was up to walking 1/2 a block. :) On my last visit, he wasn't doing so well and was using a walker to walk at all (inside the house). Its all relative, so guess I can handle a little walking for now.
