About a pound of broccoli, chopped?Six cloves of garlic, minced?Half cup of extra virgin olive oil
One pound of shells or ziti or some other thick, chunky noodle
Salt and pepper to taste
Extra olive oil for drizzling?Grated parmesan

Saute the garlic in the olive oil for a few minutes, then add the broccoli. While the water for the pasta is boiling, take some of that water and throw it in with the broccoli to steam it as it cooks. Cover and stir it often until it is fairly soft. (I add a little bit of water at a time, several times.)

Cook the pasta as directed and drain it. Then spoon the broccoli over it. Grate some parmesan on top, and drizzle a little olive oil on top of that.
