I was just filling in my training log and realised that i had forgotten to fill in my Monday Bike and Run Brick

My brick run is only a short run of 1.8km I did it in 8:42 (This is fast for me )

I looked at an earlier training log from a couple of weeks ago and the same brick run was 8:42 and the one from the previous week was 8:43

Now either I am being really really consistent or I am not improving at all

(Although the times are the same for the run the bike has been longer and harder each time)

Don't sweat it. If the bikes have been longer and harder and your brick run has stayed the same, then I would claim that's an improvement. If, however, you feel you should be faster -- not by the time but in how you feel when running -- then challenge yourself to push harder. But if you do know that you will gain more from a standalone run workouts, such as a speedwork session or quality fartlek, than you would a brick run. Me, personally, I've become fit enough where a brick workout, even when I push the run, will not cause injury, so with that I like to push the run. It's my reward for making through a tough hour-thirty Trainer session.
