So how many people here are traveling into to town for this? February 17, if you are wondering when. Do we have enough to plan on meeting somewhere for dinner etc?

http://www.breastcancermarathon.com/

This is actually last year's thread-I remember reading FB's RR. I would love to do it in 2009. Unfortunately, last year it was president's day weekend and the flights were $$$$$. I'm suspicious it will be just as bad this year. I'm running Disney in January so if the flights are at all reasonable I'll probably try and run this off my Disney training. It's a great cause and for personal reasons I would Love to be able to do it.

I really liked the Breast Cancer Marathon in 2008, especially the course. It was very warm but well stocked with water along the route. I like the cause and enjoyed the City of Jacksonville and surrounding areas, but I probably won't run it this year simply because the cost is out of my range (~$100.00).

I do highly recommend this marathon for anyone who hasn't had a chance to visit/run the Jacksonville area.
