Thanks for allowing us to get a break in. We are ready to roll again.

The next round of the VRAA will begin next Tuesday, October 2. There are two things I need to know:

First, and most importantly: Are you playing this round? I expect it'll last into the first part of November ... this should account for a lot of fall races, including The Tithers Ironman. Sign up in this thread.

Second: How much of a badass will you be? For the sake of allowing me to form reasonably fair teams, give me a prediction about your level of badassery. Keep in mind that most people underestimate how productive they'll be ... factor in cross-training and such when you estimate. If you've played before and expect to keep producing at roughly the same level, that's all I need to know.

I know that a lot of you are tapering, or getting ready to hibernate, or whatever. Don't bail on us just because you're not pumping up the volume at your usual god-like levels. The game's still fun even if you're not cranked up to 11.

(1) Mega Super Badass: You're a sizzling chunk of aerobic machinery, earning roughly 200 points per week or more. You run 50+ miles per week, or run 40+ miles per week plus bike 25ish miles per week, or bike 135 miles per week, or walk a 9.5 mile mail delivery route every day plus run like a beast in your free time, etc.

(2) Super Badass: You're hot & sassy. You run 30-50 mpw or the equivalent, earning 120-200 VRAA points per week.

(3) Badass: You are the backbone of the VRAA. No team can win without a solid core of Badassery. You run 15-30 mpw or the equivalent, racking up 60-120 VRAA points per week.

(4) Badass in Training: Maybe you're in one of them long tapers, or you're aspiring to badassery, or you're really busy right now, or you're crosstraining through an injury. Whatever. I love you for who you are, and I respect you for what you do. And what you do is this: earn 0-60 VRAA points weekly for your team. That's up to 15 mpw running, or 40 mpw on a bike, or 6000 yards of swimming, or a few good days at the gym lifting weights and/or tooling around on them machines.

Sign me up Hairy Trotter Sir. Super Badass.
Ok, I want in; however, I am fairly certain I have a stress fracture, so I will only be doing cross-training and likely bagging my upcoming marathon. I am expecting to be a Bad Ass in Training.
Sign me up.

Badass, or so. About the same as last round.

Ooohhh, can I play? I'm somewhere between Badass and Super Badass.
Sign me up Puh-leeze! I may be in taper mode but I will be a super badass none the less.

Please sign me up as a badass. I am currently and plan to continue running 18-20 miles/week, possibly more depending on when we start training for a half. I also do one spinning class a week and 3-4 weight training sessions per week. The spinning might stop if the half marathon training moves up (depends on if we pick the December half or the April one). This will be my first time so if that is the wrong category please let me know.

I'll do it...it's been a long time since I did a VRAA......I'm a BadAss I guess.

Hi! Sign me up, please!

I'm in the low range of Super Badass - about 35 MPW

Thanks!
Sure, I'm in again. Any chance of starting this Friday? I have a marathon Saturday morning.

I reckon I'm in the Super Badass category, but I'm not sure what's gonna happen after the race Saturday.

Btw, MelanieW, your avatar still makes me smile every time I see it.
I'm in...super bad ass.
I'm in. Even though I AM hot and sassy, put be down as a BadAss.
Put me in, coach - I'm ready to play!!

I'm thinking Badass - some running, and karate workouts.

Oh, and put me on Bugdude's team, if possible - his teams are 2-for-3 so far, mine are 0-for-3, so if we're together, chances are good that either my team will win, or his will lose, either of which will be okay with me!
Put me in for a Super Badass please. I can't wait-I need this motivation. Thanks
