I have two kinds:

When I'm running, after about 6-7 miles the bottoms of my feet start to hurt. I get callouses on the bottom of my foot kind of between my big toe and next toe. That's always where it's sore. This stops hurting after I stop running...

But the one that's bothering me now is a pain on the ball of my foot, kind of in that area. It is sore to walk on it, and when I stretch my toes back (pull on them with my hand) it hurts. What the heck?

thanks guys, that is what it sounds like. I'll take a couple days off, ride by bike instead.

Probably not... it doesn't seem terribly serious. My foot feels better today. I'll probably run tomorrow.

Were you running on the road? I dont have as many problems with it when I trail run my long runs...but that may be because I am distracted by the painful hills in all my trail runs.

You know, I did my two last long runs (10 miles and about 7) on sidewalks. That may have contributed to it! I much prefer trails...
