You forget Cake, I'm running, so the weather is going to be perfect. I'm blessed that way. Unless, of course, you count the nor'easter of '07, but that was my first Boston and the weather gods were trying to scare me off. Didn't work.

It's a high of 53, should be nice and cool at race start. Perfect weather, maybe a bit on the chilly side but that's great for racing.

Yabut, let's look at the math.. you are in Coral 1.. start at 10:10ish.. finish 12:45.. Adam & Cheryl start 10:45ish.. finish some 3:15 - 4ish? so. that 3hrs of weather could be VERY different for you than us, since you'll be napping and drunk :)

hence my 2009 Boston, where the last half was a windy, cold, miserable slogfest. I get to MJ's at the end, and I hear "what wind? it was windy?"

btw, for anyone local who is planning on spectating, I'm setting up near Centre Street in Newton and staying until Cake runs by. if anyone wants to join me, they are welcome to. also, if any of the runners wants me to have something for them, let me know.

Could be very different to a better! Look at the 07 nor'easter. The elite/fasties (i.e. Mike) had a horrible start and who knows all the way to the end. For, slow pokes like me, who started later and took some extra time to finish, the day wasn't too bad. Not at all. The Boston watchers always make a comment, 'did you run in that weathe?! It must have been aweful' when they find out I was there in 07. All they saw was the elite battling wind/rain on TV.

Weather.com has high of 60 and a low of 44 with a 10% chance of precipitation. Let's lock it in!

Don't be starting any trouble Dougie! You don't even joke like that five days out from Boston!

Just remember that the over-night of Sunday into Monday will be, if it is seasonal, chilly. So bring warm clothes to wear before the race. And perhaps even bring a plastic bag or throw-away clothing to the start. I usually bring arm warmers that I either toss away or stick in the pocket of my Tri-top just in case it gets cold later on when the course enters Boston city proper, where it usually gets cold or cooler with a slight or stiff head wind. On the other hand, if temps get to 60, it will not be cold. And if it feels cold, then you are utterly dehydrated. Or you have stopped running. Which hopefully that doesn't happen for all here until after the finish line.

16mph wind from SW..... I could fly with that kind of wind on my back. If I was a little lighter.
