I have one on the underside of my little toe that apparently developed during my marathon on Sunday. It is currently bugging the bejeebers out of me. Should I pop it or let it heal and pop itself??
Hi florida, I usually sterilize a sewing needle by heating it to red hot, then run water over it. Stick the needle just under the blister, sometimes it takes a few pokes to get it to drain. Larry
I take a little more aggressive approach. I'll cut a slit in the blister so it can't close back up and then use liberal amounts of Vaseline on the blister and areas around the blister.... no bandages ...... just clean socks ...... add more Vaseline throughout the day and night and always putting clean socks on. I'm usually go to go the following day even if it's a long run. I've tried Body Glide but I prefer Vaseline .... it's cheaper and I think it's better in eliminating friction.
