Heat and humidity still in the forecast with impending t-storms. Hopefully, they'll hold off until after the race this time. I hear the water temp is at 72.

I will be there depending! I just checked forecast and the hourly shows clear until 1PM. I am not getting up at 3:30 and leaving at 4:00 again to not do the race! Hoping it stays as is.

I am in for Saturday, weather permitting. I am with Julie. This time if I hear thunder or rain in Gilford, I am REALLY going back to bed, especially since Waterville Valley is an extra 1/2 hour further than Newfound Lake.

PM thunderstorms were the forecast at Mooseman too so we'll see .

If we'd stayed home this weekend instead of going to the lake I would have opted for the DAM. I really liked it last year. Have a great time, Kyle! It's going to be soupy-toasty on that run out to the farm and back even moreso than last year.

I don't know what to do! I don't want to do this if it is going to be raining. Running races in the rain are fine, I just don't bike in the rain, too dangerous. So the hourly forecast at weather.com shows rain at 4 am, the hourly forecast at accuweather doesn't show rain until later. Do I pack all my crap, go to bed early and see if it's raining at 3:30 or do I just bag it and go for a nice long bike ride today in the beautiful weather? What to do!

Black Fly is the first triathlon that is also a fundraiser for the MS Society. A friend of mine was deeply involved with getting that to happen. They're really hoping for a good turnout.

Of course, given the weather at Mooseman, I'm also really hoping it works out well for you all!

So it is most likely to rain tomorrow am. I am going anyways and I'm going to have fun. This winter I encouraged my friend Maureen from my cycling club to sign up and she did so I can't be a no show. Also, I think the Waterville venue is much more rain friendly than the state park for Moosey. Parking is closer, there are places to get undercover in the Town Square, etc.

I'm pretty familiar with the ride (in fact we did this ride 2 weeks ago in the middle of a severe t-storm warning and it turned into a beautiful evening...).
