Very nice and courageous woman not afraid to speak her mind. Even if the President didn't agree with her comments.

She was an awesome woman.

She was the President's wife back in an age where the country was less polarized and more sane.

I really yearn for the days when someone could say something on either side of the aisle without being dragged through the street.

There is no such thing as "the loyal opposition" anymore. Politics sucks these days.

I blame the liberal media.

Interesting. I blame the conservative media and talk shows. But I agree with you the fine art of negotiation and compromise between the parties and President(s) that kept us from becoming a polarized nation has been somewhat lost. Not real sure with all the rhetoric on both sides of the aisle what lies ahead but it is worrisome.

I was kidding.

Actually, I blame ALL media. Except for NPR.

Actually, I don't really think the media is liberal. I think the media will do anything, liberal or conservative or moderate or whatever, to make a splash. They have no political convictions. Or morals.
