Love em. Some folks round here are blessed with new ones. Some folks have em on the way. Lady I work with is a new aunt (like 2 days worth). Saw Children of Men yesterday and was surprised how touching it was.

I haven't been around really new baby in a while. I'm thinking about a trip to the maternity ward just to ask if I can pinch that little pudge that they get on the tops of their feet.

This guy I work with brought in his 6 month old CHUBBER the other day. She was happy, and smiling and me when I talked to her, and she looked so squeezable!! I mean, fat baby cheeks are adorable.

My son was born small and then chunked out quite fast. We're talking, he was born at 6 lb 13 oz and by his 2 week appointment he was 8 lb 1 oz. Most babies are back to their birth weight at their 2 week appointment. So, he just ate well and and got really chubby. People would comment about his fat cheeks and some would even reach out to squeeze them.

Some would make the comment, "Your son's cheeks are soooooo cute! It looks like he got them from you."

I. hate. you.

Chubby babies are the best. I myself, was a rather fat baby.

My niece was really chubby. She ended up getting sick when she was still a baby, couldn't keep food down, etc. It turned out to be something to do with her ears. But had she not been a chubber, she would have been WAY to skinny to come thru that ordeal healthy.

He is adorable Colby A woman I work with brought her grandson in the other day and I was shocked how small and adorable he was. It is hard to believe my kids were like that at one time.

Moi aussi. I think it disgusts the missus. We can't go anywhere like a mall or elsewhere in public without my checking out the babes (and the babes too, but that's different).

That's the Tot! And yes, he has red hair! He's so freakin' adorable and is an ANGEL baby to boot. Yeah, he's still having pooping issues, and it's not getting better. Since I had the flu and my temp was up to 104, my milk production has tanked, so he's had a lot of formula...not good for non-pooping baby.

He's huge, though. Can you even tell he was 6 weeks premature?? And in the NICU??!! No way. He's nice and rotund these days. Those rolly-polly legs are the BEST!
