Good Morning,

It was a dark and humid run. I wasn't happy with my pace but since today is my first day of work I don't really care. By the numbers it was 5.2 in 48:37 for a 9:21 pace.

FB--welcome back to reality!

Jill--rest up.

I'll join Jill in the resting club. Tough, tough race yesterday. Got a nasty headache during the bike. Felt okay (it's all relative...) on the run. Way too long drive home. Got home and crashed on the familyroom floor. Just nuthin' left. Laundry, getting the house back in shape, then meeting with a friend later this mornign. THATS IT!

Hi all :)

FB - good job in the dark and humidity.

Jill, enjoy the rest day.

4BM enjoy the rest day too -- though does not sound too restful. Way to tough out the race yesterday!

Kevin, enjoy the 5-6.

Yes, I am back (I think) -- sorry for my extended absence -- it just made me too depressed to come on here when I was not running.

Just finished my longest break from running in years -- just a little over 2 months... Did my mountain road run this morning but cut it to 6 miles instead of the usual 8. Did it in roughly 50 minutes. Found out my watch must of died sometime during my hiatus, so had to estimate based on my car's clock. I took the dead watch as a sign to not worry about my times while I get back in shape...

So far, feeling great -- we'll see how I feel tomorrow morning...

Good morning again and welcom back loopy and more resters today. My run was a sweatfest. The last 2 miles were kind of fast today as I have places to go in the morning. I got in 6 miles in 49:41(8:16) and the last 2 miles were 7:34 and 7:38. I am sure I will be tired later though. Have a great morning everyone.

Hey all,

Normally Monday is my rest day, too, but I never got a chance to run yesterday so I'll be getting out there this evening. It won't be much, just an easy 5 miler on my neighborhood loop, with maybe a few strides and some weight work (or lawnmowing) to finish up the night's work. That should get me good and tired to sleep well tonight. Then, I've got a 5k race tomorrow evening, last race of what I'm calling my summer season.

All you resters, enjoy. Well done FB/Kevin/Z...and welcome back, Loopy!

Hi everybody. After too many days off, I jumped ont he 'mill this morning. My kids assured me they'd rather play at home than go to the Y. After being interrupted for the fifth time in two miles, I called it a day.
