I'm just sayin'... Check it out, pals

This is an inaugural event, which would allow any of us as participants to say "I have run DLMB since year 1...."

And it would have flaws, the kind of flaws that inaugural events suffer from -- poor directional signage, missing portajohns, who knows? But we'd be pioneers! And the scenery is gorgeous!

Lemmesee if I get along with any of yunz I meet in Arizona. I feel a bit awkward committing to yet another Big Relay before I find out whether the first one is any fun.

If I get this correctly each leg is 4.8 miles adn you have to do 3 of them with 12 to a team?
Sounds like fun and even I can run that amount Of course you'll want someone speedy but if you get stuck..........

I couldn't get most of the links on their website to open, so I'm not sure I know the particulars here. I'm interested in this, but, alas, I am not speedy.

Well, since seeing that Rave Run in RW @Prairie Creek S.P. near Cresent City, CA.,
I knew I had to run there.
So I was going to take a week off and just run in the real woods next summer.
A relay in Oregon would be a hugh bonus.

B'sides, youall are such nice people.
I'm available if needed
I'd be up for this, as long as someone else is team captain and does all the planning, I'll even volunteer for 4 or 5 legs if we don't get enough team members.

It appears this is on the PCT and FS roads, so there will be some night running on trail involved. Speed is not of the essence here, more important, the ability to be able to cope in a van for 36 hours with other stinky, cranky runners .

As this is a month before H2C, there should be no conflict, unless 36 hours in a van with other stinky, cranky, runners is a once a year thing.
