<p>Georgia State put it's 2011 football schedule together in February, scheduling a September 1 (Thursday night) game at the Georgia Dome, a State run facility.  The Atlanta Falcons just released their schedule and lo and behold they have scheduled the Baltimore Ravens in the Georgia Dome for the same night.</p>

<p>IMHO the Falcons should reschedule their game or move it to the home stadium of the Clark County Correctional Institute (also known as UGA) in Athens for that night.</p>

<p>Georgia State cannot move their game to Bobby Dodd Stadium at Georgia Tech because Tech's home opener is also that night at Tech.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>But don't you know the bullys from the NFL will win this one.   Jerk-offs!</p>

<p>The Atlanta Falcons should be moved permanently...to Oklahoma City or Portland or Toronto...or even Los Angeles.</p>

<p>Atlanta is a college football place and those caprpetbaggers from the NFL need to be moved out.</p>

<p>Toronto could use an NFL team although the NFL might have to change its name to IFL (International Football League) at that point.  There is apparently a clause in the lease agreement with the Falcons that they have first dibbs on the Dome Thursday through Monday.  So barring a lockout GSU will have to make other plans.</p>

<p>Arthur Blank (Falcon's owner) wants to build a new outdoor stadium for the Birds.  I'm all for it provided it's without taxpayer money.  Then he can have first rights 365 day a year, 24/7 without any complaints from me.  Not that he is likely to call me for advice. <span id="user_yui_3_3_0_8_130312682335214"><img alt="wink.gif" id="user_yui_3_3_0_8_130312682335213" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif" style="width:16px;height:16px;"></span></p>
