<p><em>Phoenix-area temperatures are expected to be a bit above-average leading up to the weekend, with a possible chance of rain Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.</em></p>

<p><em>Temperatures should start warming up Wednesday with a high of 77 degrees, followed by a high of 79 degrees Thursday and 78 degrees Wednesday, meteorologist technician Keith Kincaid said.</em></p>

<p><em>The normal high temperatures for Phoenix this time of year are about 75 degrees and the normal low is around 50 degrees, Kincaid said.</em></p>
<p><em>High temperatures should drop back down to normal during the weekend with a high of 75 degrees Saturday and a chance of rain that continues through Sunday, Kincaid said.</em></p>
<p><em>Phoenix-area weather should become cooler and more cloudy beginning Sunday with a high of 70 degrees, Kincaid said</em></p>
