Aqua jogging has improved my fitness!

<p><span style="font-size:16px;">Wow, I am very careful when it comes to Injuries or any pain at all, so I like to nip it in the bud. So in 36 years of running i've had one chronic injury (lasting more than one month)  I had some Periformis tightness so went</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:16px;">I just got done with 3 weeks of aqua Jogging and I had a major INCREASE in my fitness. I was much faster,stronger with better endurance when I went back to running!</span></p>

<p>Rainey, can you give us a little more detail about your aqua-jogging workouts?  Duration, what type of flotation device, any resistance aids, boredom relief techniques, etc?  I tried it once and must have been doing something wrong because after 20 minutes (the most my brain could endure) I wasn't even breathing hard.</p>

<p>Not saying I'm some kind of aqua-jogging uber-stud (far from), just wondering how a person gets a solid workout from it.</p>
