We used to be able to pick any day during spring break to take off, but then they just decided to close on Friday and avoid any scheduling headaches. So far this morning though, I am thinking that they should just close up for the entire week.

I was supposed to have a special vacation at the beginning of next week, so I would have had a five day weekend. But alas, work stuff has forced me to cancel those plans and reschedule. Bummer!

I am happy to hear you and the ex worked things out. In the long run you just have to do what is best for the kids. If they are being dropped off late and are tired it is not a good thing. I changed my schedule with the kids lately because it wasn't working. They too were tired all the time. I have them one less night a week but in the long run it is better for them to get the sleep they need. They have to be able to function in school.
