Thanks, and negative... not doing it.

We should pick a half Iron distance race that also has a few other distances, put it on all of our calendars as a Team LIT race, and then make it happen as a yearly gathering of celebration. I've been thinking about that for a long time now.

I would love to work up to doing 70.3 in KS in a year or so... I don't think I could be prepared for this summer.

I will most likely be there. I need to map out the rest of my 2008 vacation schedule with DW, and its already top-heavy with triathlon, marathons and sailing. But I think I can make the case for that one.

It's 6 weeks after IMMoo, so I probably won't be ready to qualify for Team USA. I could opt for the sprint or oly.

You be sure to tell your hot shot coach my name. I can even help you spell it out for him. Because I will be the one not on his ass but the one so far out in front of him that he won't even be able to *see* my ass. Tell him: Tee. Ehch. Oh. Are.

When's that? Actually, my schedule for the year is already quite full. However, I do have time early season if I want it -- but I don't think I will want it, coming off an expensive honeymoon and also with Mooseman in early June -- and again in late August to September. October is Halfmax in Vegas!

I was eyeing Rock 'n Roll Man (the one in GA) that Sheldon speaks highly about, and I really want to do that some year, but I signed up for Mooseman a while back because, at the time, Mooseman had one slot allocated per age group for Team USA. But that was then. It no longer has the slot. So I wish I knew then what I knew now. Other than that, early season may have me going back to Devilman as a nice tune-up half Iron before Mooseman. Devilman is the flattest course in these parts, which isn't to say it's pancake flat, but compare to Mooseman and Timberman and an assortment of other local races, it's flat.
