<p>Been looking at them. I like Nook over Kindle right now because it has the capability to check out electronic books from public libraries. (Can't remember the technical term for it.) Word is that's coming online soon for Kindle, if it's not already available. Haven't looked in a few weeks. Prices are comparable. I'm probably going to wait, though. Still got tons of ODT books to read first.</p>

<p>I've played with the nook in B&N, and didn't love it nearly as much.</p>

<p>You can go look at the kindles in target.</p>

<p>According to specs the new Kindle still can't support EPUB books (that's the format the library's use) - but, CNET has software you can download to convert the epub to the kindle format.</p>
