Great race. The numbers at the end are really impressive! An avg HR of over 180? I'd be dead in a HM with those kinds of numbers. This year look like something special!

Wow Kathleen!!! Way to go! My DH and DDs also have the Sandisc Sansa Clip. It is SO awesome, isn't it? I didn't run with my ipod because they said they were banned, but LOTS of people had them. Yes, this course is harder than the 3M, but I know two other people who shattered their 3M times at this race. I just think this race is a better race as far as the spectators and the fact that there is a full mary as well. It was so cool seeing the first Marathoners finish! Every time you run back into downtown you get this rush and just run faster. Yes, some of the hills were killers (yeah, that one around mile 9 was one), but you at least know it will go downhill once you get to the top. That was always my motivation.

Congratulations on an AWESOME PR!! My next big goal is sub-2:00, but that will be next year. If I do the Longhorn HIM in October, I probably can't train for the full marathon, but we'll see.

My average was 186 at that race as well, but that's zone 4 for me! My LT is 195! I expected my average to be higher, but it wasn't. I guess I didn't run hard enough! JK
