What the heck are you guys doing to yourselves?

That is all.

Oh, no it isn't. I feel bad for Huntsman. The only sane individual in the race. Maybe 2016... Maybe, just maybe Obama will grow a pair and ask him to be his running mate AS A REPUBLICAN.

I really wish Palin would just go away.

No! She's too entertaining.

Although, she hasn't been in the news in the last month or so.

But Grizz, even if there is, can they run as a Republican, or is it too late? I think that it is so divisive, "them vs. us" down there right now that any person that is even close to that criteria doesn't dare throw their hat in. There really doesn't seem to be any "agree to disagree" anymore.

Not since pre-Regan days has there been any cooperation between the parties. That's when the Republican's party started shifting way right.

the last "good" Republican president (in my opinion, of course) was Gerald Ford, and he wasn't elected.

Heck, even Richard Nixon wouldn't stand the Republican test today because he would have been considered to liberal, and certainly not Eisenhower.

There's a book, or article, or something out there that I read once, "Who stole my party". It talks about Ford and moderates being pushed out, Rove, and others of his ilk, remaking Republican-ism in their vision.

And, of course, not to just bash the GOP, the Democrats are just as bad. They'll pander to ANY interest group out there, and then nothing done. They got in to office on Obama's coattails, then stabbed him in the back.

Does anyone believe that a conversation like this would happen now? Between anyone in any party?

The art, and respect, and cooperation of politics is dead, and I suspect it can never be revived.

Oh, forgot to mention, 30 years ago I was a Republican. Now, I'm undeclared, as it were. Can't vote in primaries, at least in my state.
Things are not looking particularly good for the USA right now.

The USA is OK. This, as other crises, will pass.

I can see the U.S. becoming little more than a Christian version of Iran. There is little difference between Sharia Law and Christian Law when government power is operated in the name of a specific religion.

Mr. Santorum...yes.

Ok, I am watching Ron Paul talk on CNN, underneath NEVADA, it said "28 delegates at stake." Does the winner get all 28 delegats or is it split between the 4 based on their persentage?

Depends on the state and the party. Not sure about Nevada.
