CONGRATS PRAE!!!!!! That's great news!

Today is the anniversary of Rosie's death. Miss Ro was a very good dog. I can't believe it's been a year.

Extra (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))) ))))))))))))))))))))))) to Alexis today.

My feet are itchy...but there's nothing else wrong with them (no rash, no dry spots, no cracked or peeling skin). What the heck?

Last night we had a production meeting at Brian, our set designer's place...mmmmm....cupcakes. I didn't get much done, but that was ok. I needed a break.

After work, I'm heading over to the recording studio for a session with Bleu for his new album. More on that tomw.

OK, well, THAT was scattered. I have to get to work. My new title is probably gonna be Manager of Content Research, but it's not set in stone...so I don't know. I am eligible for a different bonus plan, which is cool.

Congrats PRAE!!!! You rock!!!

((((Maureen)))) and ((((Ailarie and Theia))))

Happy Friday folks!

So last night DH brought home the first of the crack cookies we bought. Except he brought them home while I was gone. I asked him where he put them, his response was the wine cellar. Oh, and right after I got home he had to leave again. So, when I was ready to actually have a cookie or two - I was GONNA be careful about how many, I went to the wine cellar. No cookies.

I told him, when he got home again, "I went to the wine cellar to have some cookies but there weren't any there!"

He looked at me and said, "Did you really think I was going to tell you where I hid them?"

So I had fudge instead.

I did find another 6 of Hopslam though!!!!

Yay, Prae! That is awesome.

Moe, sorry about the dogiversary. But you gonna be a rock star!

DS was kind of crabby last night, which we chalked up to no nap. I read to him after dinner and put him to bed about 7:30. At 10:00, I heard him kind of whimpering, but he had no fever and didn't say that anything hurt. 15 minutes later I heard coughing, then, Mommmmmmeeeeeeee. Vomit. Everywhere. We had to throw away the shirt he was wearing and get him into a bath and get absolutely everything that was on his bed into the wash. Poor buddy.

I wasn't sure what to do next. If it's a tummy bug and there will be repeat episodes, it's actually better to have them sleep on the couch where I can...direct things. So, I was snuggling with him on the couch while DH watched Lost and we contemplated what to do. An ad for pizza came on and all of a sudden he perked up. "Look, Mommy! Pizza! With pepperoni!"

He is quite fine this morning. I will be working from home just in case, which positions me well for a BadAss start to the VRAA.

ETA: hugs to Theia and Ailarie, and a big ol' whoop to MoeMomma!

I don't know why this struck me funny.

I only remember vomiting when I was on chemo. No antiemetics in 1982.

I like you Lincoln.

Fortunately I'm a believer in the, "Oh yeah, THAT'S how we're playin'?" attitude. He isn't sharing from his cookie pusher - fine. I won't share from my cookie pusher. Once my cookie pusher contacts me to tell me I can get my cookies that is. . .

And if that fails - I'm hiding the beer.

Love the doggy pics...thank you Ailarie!

Ok...I know it's part of being a parent...but all these stories of kids barfing all the time freaks me out. I'm not good with barfing. The mere thought of it makes me want to barf myself. So I'm really not looking forward to the day when Lena is a barfer.

Wait until potty training starts.

I know from a purely physical standpoint there's probably little difference from doggie poo and human poo, but when you're child poops on the carpet, it's a hell of a lot grosser than when the dog does.

I don't know why.

And after you get thrown up on a couple of times, you get over it. Quick.
