I'm joking.<br>
My friend, however, is an adoptive parent and feels very seriously that their money allowed them to bypass what she had to go through and doesn't like it at all. Which is where I thought of the joke from

I understand. Our boy is from Vietnam...and we adopted about the same time as Jolie. I know some other families had some hard feelings...i.e. she was in and out of the country rather quickly while most other families stay in country for 2-3 weeks...but I personally have no issues with it.<br><br>
I've personally experienced some of the orphanages and spent time with the caregivers. Sure it's expensive...but I'm confident that the money is well spent.
