Advice for masters runners

The other day someone pointed me to the following post from Coach C on running2win.com:

To me this advice rang true, even though I am not a speedster of the sort the coach is talking about.

I couldn't find an article with the right title, but I think this is the article the coach was referring to:

http://runningspot.com/art_runningexercises.php

What other advice would you give to masters runners?

Speaking of advice, how is the Women Masters Training Manual coming along? I think it is such a cool idea, and you ladies are a perfect group to get it going.

Great post millbot. I am afraid to admit that I am one of those who dwells in #1 and by reading this I am challenged to do more speed work for my next quest.

I do ice baths at my friend the PT request who is a firm believer in ice baths any time one practice any sport longer than 2 hours.

Yes Tammy, after my freezing cold 14 miles run yesterday I took an ice bath instead of a "hot bath". Try it... your muscles will love it.
