Anyone in here ever do any adventure races or familiar with this series of races?

http://www.goalsara.org/

I'm thinking of doing the first one in April with some friends, and am looking for some advice or input from anyone who's done one before we commit to this race.

I always thought i would like to do one, UNTIL i read "Thrill of Victory, Agony of my Feet" and was like, OMG, hell no!!!!! That stuff is insane, and if i am saying it, that means a lot! lol. Well, these were big adventure races like eco challenge stuff. There is a 24 hour challenge local that i would be interested in, but probably never any time in the future because my schedule is pretty tight as is.
That book looks good, off I go to B&N to buy it.
I always wanted to do and Adventure race. But I can't see many AB athletes wanting a gimp for a captain.
Let me know what you think of it. It scared the bajeebus out of me!!! I thought i was going to read it and want to sign up for one. Funny how that works
This gave me a clear vision of a team piling on your chair for a trip down a hill in the woods.

I seem to remember a Bloom County strip that had something like that with everyone on Cutter John's chair? Any BC fans out there?

Not this one, but with the same characters.

http://www.geocities.com/EnchantedFo...175/handi1.jpg
