achilles tendon

Can anyone offer any advice on an Achilles tendon injury? I took a week off and am still in flight pain, I know it's not a complete rupture, but is a strain. This week off has made it better, but it's not healing fast enough....

<p>Rest.  Obviously you know by now it is a bitch to get over.  I have a  friend who was helped greatly by a platelet shot when he tore his but it was $$$.  Good luck with it and let us know.</p>
