So I have been eating healthy for most of my life, esp. paying attention to low fat for the last 20 years. That meant that I am careful about restaurant choices, etc., but I am not anal about it. What I have noticed, though, is that I have indigestions easily when I eat something like butternut pancakes out, recently. No butter, no added syrup or anything. I suspect there is some fat in it, but it cannot be astronomical in quantity.
Anyone else develop the same problem. It seems as if I have developed intolerance for fat.

I have recently cut my fat intake also. I have noticed that when I do eat something with a lot of fat, it causes me indigestion. You are obviously more sensitive to it then I am, but I am noticing the same thing.

just a thought: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gallstone

i know my aunt (who eats a very low fat diet) was found to have them... she noticed pain and discomfort after eating fattier foods, and because she was not the "typical patient" her doctor refused to believe gallstones might be an issue...

you may just have indigestion. but, there's a possibility it could be something more insidious. i'd see a doc if it continues or becomes acutely painful.
