Stupid Open Office!!

I did all this work yesterday on a document for school and today all the formatting, tables, and pictures I put in there are gone. It's just plain text. This is going to take me forever to fix. I don't have forever!!!

Then is it just going to disappear again when I save it, like it apparently did yesterday?

I know, it's my own fault for not buying MS Word, right?

Everytime I close and reopen the document, all the formatting disappears!!!

WTF? I don't have time to drive 22 minutes to school to work on it. I have to work again tonight.

not yet. I saved it as a .ODT, thinking I'd save it in office format when I was ready to take it to school and print.

I'll try that.

I never work on complex document between Open Office and MS Office. Spreadsheets convert OK, but documents are all screwed up.

Oh bless you, Martin!! That worked.

Why does it default to a useless file type when you hit Save???? Who the hell thought that was a good idea?

I'm happy it ended up fine!

Make sure to make a back up copy before you convert it to another format!
