Long Beach has a large breakwater anyway, so we are safe, plus the water is all icky with trash and oil so the whales won't want to come inside the breakwater anyway.<br><br>
Spin Class and 800 yards in the pool for me today.<br><br>
Ironbabe is cool. Public butt explosions are worthless without photos... wink.<br><br>
Silly Sally definately deserves Ironbabe under her avatar as well.<br><br>
If you figure out how to feel safe on a bike at 40 miles an hour let me know. I don't scream, I just go oh shit and hang on. But my max so far is 39.6 mph.

I am so excited! A coworker did her first tri last year and she is going to do the same one I am thinking of doing this summer. I was emailing her about it and we might work out together by carpooling in the morning and then doing some running after work and then bike home. There is also a place to swim on the way, so sometimes we can do that instead of running. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"> We'll have to wait for spring...still cool though!

Good plan! A training partner/buddy can be a great thing. Hopefully when one of you feels like slacking and skipping, the other keeps you going. works great as long as you don't both go sleepy at the same time. Especially good for the swimming, 'cause swimming alone is <b>never</b> a good idea.
