<p>When 2012 started, I had no clue what it would bring and have been very fortunate and happy where my lot in life has brought me. My company has treated me very well; they've given me opportunity after opportunity to succeed and to contribute. Being here in Minnesota with a great team; a fantastic home; and near my kids - I thought I would be here for awhile.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>But.. it seems my company has entrusted me with yet another challenge. This time - West. They have asked me to go to another district and rebuild it as I have done this one. They are finishing the paperwork and should announce on Monday. So until then, I don't want to post the location. (my luck someone in my company would stumble across this site!).</p>
<p> </p>
<p>It is a HUGE opportunity and one, where in fact, I'm humbled that they've asked me to undertake it. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>The hardest part of all will be sitting down with my team here and letting them know. We've built a great bond and I'm convinced they'd go through hell and back for me. (Granted it just sales but in my function - I only succeed if they succeed). So, I'm getting ready to drive to Iowa to tell my kids - they'll be happy for me and will like my new location as well. Then probably Monday - once it's official, I'll have a call with my team and let them know. </p>

<p>Next weekend, I'm flying out to the new location to start looking around and February 1st I'll be there. <br><br>
Funny how life seems to change on a dime...</p>

<p>I'd love the hell out of it if I were still unattached, but I'm also 26.  When I'm old and crochety like Rich and have family considerations, then it would definitely be tough.  Mad props!  Just be wary of the Canajuns. </p>
