A new week starting for us kickstars.

Heme - hope she enjoys her vacation. DW is going to go on an Alaskan cruise next week with her sister from Phoenix.

10 miles this morning. First time I've gotten my lazy you know what up on a Monday in a long time. No training partners on Monday so it's easy to sleep in and run at night. But then it's so hot at night I'm killing myself running.

Mike - did you watch the PGA yesterday? I don't like Woods or his ex caddy but glad Adam Scott and his caddy beat Woods.

What do you have going today kickstars?

Morning all

KS - I saw some of the golf, lots of bitterness from the Caddy.

I have been away at the TdF and training in the mountains but I am now marathon training. As strange as this sounds this is a first for me. Up until now there was always an ultra nearby but this is purely a marathon plan.

Hi ks, tw, Gobi, and all who follow!

Nice running this w/e, tw. I hope your hip handled the pavement ok. And get that tee shirt!

ks, yes, I caught that round yesterday (my game was washed out due to rain). That was a nice win for Adam, some clutch shots on the back side. I'm a little surprised at Steve William's interviews. Good caddies are not supposed to be noticed. You'd think he was the one executing the shots.

6 miler today, 4 at tempo (7:47 pace). You could cut the humidity with a knife today. I'm glad it was a short run.

Gobi, your week one total mileage is beyond anything I'll attempt. There has been some interesting comments re: training here lately. I'm a 5 day/week runner, on rare occasions 6. But I do 3 hard w/o's per week (2 tempo, 1 LR). Seems to work for me.

Was Williams Tiger's caddy or bouncer? I couldn't tell the difference sometimes.

No running the last couple days as I hit the eliptical for a solid 63 minutes yesterday to get 12 miles in and today did an interval workout.

16 minutes warmup at level 12 followed by half miles at level 14 with half mile recovery at level 10 to even things out. Intervals went from 2:22 down to 2:11. I was shooting for 8 but was wiped out after 6 so I stopped to recover and then did 18 minutes recovery to total 12 miles in a little over an hour. Did about 14 minutes worth of hard effort.

Planning on 9 or 10 miles running tomorrow.

6 EZ miles for me this evening. I wasn't sure how it would go after a sleepless night, but it felt wonderful. I enjoyed it soo much. I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much if I tried to run faster - my legs were feeling the lack of sleep and Saturday's LR. So I was happy to have planned a slow 6 and I got in 2 of them of my rolling hills route which I love so much because I got someone to ride their bike with me - yay for that! Everyone please send me "sleepy" vibes for tonight or I think I'll lose my mind.
