Hi all - well, I didn't want to slug around for another day, so I ended up walk/running 3 miles, mainly as a way to not re-tweak my calf. Mission accomplished, so maybe a little more strenuous a workout today.

I'm thinking of getting a quality coffee grinder - I've noticed freshly ground makes all the difference, but the cheapo grinders don't do the trick. However, I'm still trying to justify the money needed to get a quality machine (I've figured $200 is the minimum.) I'll bounce it around my head further before saying yay or nay.

Clare - yay on the dress

Brandy - feel better soon!

GoV - have fun! Over here, the stands would probably be filled mostly with folks with Mexican heritage; I imagine it's different there.

Litch - good to see you posting back here regularly

QOD - It was the first snowfall I ever encountered, I think when I was about 3 years old. We were stationed in Norfolk, and I can remember the front lawn being coated with all sorts of fluffy whiteness. I had my favorite dark green jacket on (I called it the "X" jacket, because it had this X-like symbol on the arm sleeve) and was eager to get romping there. However, my sister didn't want anything to do with this snow stuff and was clinging to my mom on the porch. I guess my mom wasn't too keen on having me wander off too much, dealing with my cranky sister, and/or me overexposing to the cold, so my playtime outside was squelched much to my dismay.
