Going to see DH's cousin graduate tonight. I just adore her, she is a super sweet girl who has been through a lot in the last 2 years but held it together and is still as wonderful as ever! Then I have to come home and start working on cupcakes for her party, woot woot!!
 
Nothing else new and exciting. Oh but apparently Colin's hair makes people giggle, I had 4 people stop me in Target yesterday to check out his 'do! It's just a spikey peach fuzzy kind of look, but it is pretty silly <img alt="wink.gif" id="user_yui_3_3_0_8_130822430353324" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif" style="width:16px;height:16px;">

Hey! I'm here. 
 
I have a rant. Well...not really a rant. It's more of a...hmmmm...that's odd. 
Here's how it goes. I'm hosting DS#3's birthday party/sleepover on Friday evening/Sat morning. It's my birthday on Sat. It's Father's day on Sunday. Finally, it is DS#3's actual birthday on Monday. Typically the real birthday is when we have cake and stuff. So you can see that it's a busy weekend. I've asked the ex if he would mind taking the boys one day early this week. That way I can go out on my birthday for supper and the boys could wake up at his house for Father's Day. At first he said yes. Then he tried vehemently to guilt me into spending time with my babies for my birthday, saying that they would feel unloved if I don't spend every single second of my birthday day with them. Now he tells me he's going to Montreal to be with his dad for Father's day on Saturday. Do I look stupid? Really? I'm sure this has nothing to do with the fact that someone is actually going to take me out and show me a good time on my birthday! God forbid! ok. now. it's. a. rant!!
 
ok. i'm good now. ps. it's my birthday on Saturday. ;-)

My work presentation went well this morning! I'm pleased with how things are going!
 
The new pool liner goes in tomorrow, finally! Well, I'll believe it when I see it. It was supposed to take 2-3 days for it to come in and we've been waiting a month now. The back yard still needs some work, though. Finish the pavers, sod, rock wall and river stone. And nice plants, of course. At least the weather isn't that great. If it was nice and we were still waiting for stuff to be done, I'd be even more pissed than I am!

Yay for the Bruins! Boston has won a title in every sport within the last 8 years. Pretty amazing. The next city on that list is Chicago, and that goes back 26 years. Of course, Chicago has two baseball teams, one of whom famously hasn't won in over 100 years. Boston has had a pretty amazing run this century so far...

Funny: I got my hair cut after work. Stopped in at GFS after leaving the salon. As I was walking in the store, an enormous man (think William Perry at the height of his game) walks towards the door sort of next to me.
 
William: Someone smells goooooo-oood!
I looked over at him: It can't be me.
William, smiling at me: Well it sho ain't me, and there's no body else around honey!
Me, after looking around: Oh. I just got my hair cut. It must be all the goo she put in it.
