<p>I am working on about 4 hours of sleep, though. Thankfully, I'm an expert at sleeping on planes.</p>

<p>CRAP night of sleep for no good reason. Feel funky today, and I have a ton of stuff to do. We'll see how much I can cross off my list.</p>

Fun: I saw Ann twice yesterday! So nice to catch up with her.<br><br>
Not fun: we got stuck in a hotel elevator for about 20-25 minutes this morning.<br><br>
Today will be a long day of driving, but I am ready to be home and get everyone back on sleep and eatin routines again.<br><br>

<p>Wow.. slow weekend around these parts, eh?</p>

<p>I'm paying back a debt this morning. The neighbor who helped to cut down some of the mid-sized trees with his chainsaw (and used his tractor to push the logs to the far side of my yard) is running a 2 day biking event this weekend. Though sitting in the GA heat for 4 hours this morning is not my idea of fun, I'm helping with the registration table for however many waves are going on. At least he got me a shady spot instead of being a turn monitor where there wasn't much of any shelter.

<p>Hope today runs smoother than yesterday did for the bikers. Apparently one of the lead packs in whatever trial group ran into (literally) a deer. I don't know the details, but several bikers were hurt, and the deer fared worse, I've been told.. Hopefully everyone, both in mankind and nature stay safe today!</p>

<p>Last day of trial preparation for me and we start our trial tomorrow! It has been a crazy couple of weeks, so I am looking forward to getting this game on! Should be interesting to see what the jury does.... </p>

<p>Hello all - yesterday was kind of a busy in a light kind of way: went to a coffee tasting (local roaster - very good coffee), got out to do a little grocery shopping, a list of "things-to-do" got done, various write-ups, etc. etc. </p>

<p>Today promises more of the same; was thinking of heading out and doing some kinda' local festival or similar, but I'm pretty content just to stay close to home this weekend.</p>

<p>Hi, folks. Well, I made it to Las Vegas. It's a beautiful afternoon here, and I'm sitting in a conference room in the bowels of Caesars getting an early glimpse at some new software that has just been released. Yeah, this is my idea of a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas. <span><img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="width:16px;height:16px;"></span></p>

<p>Unfortunately we were on last-minute babysitting duty yesterday, making a meet-up with Prae impossible. It's not a great spot to be put in, as we don't want to say no to J's bro when they are in need but at the same time we like our planless or light-plan weekends, having worked and not seen one another all week. Oh well, the kiddos were comical as always and kept us moving around. </p>

<p>We had two deer cross right in front of us during our family ride today. One buck and a doe. </p>

<p>Fun: Went to Cirque du Soleil yesterday at our new Arena. It was a good show. I think I like the live music as much as the other stuff.</p>
