27 degrees and 16 wind chill this morning and 6 ez miles. The state of TX had rolling planned blackouts yesterday and supposed to have them today and tomorrow as well. They only last 20 mins or a bit longer. Using more electricity than producing. Seems to me we shouldn't save that much because once electricity is back on; we'll all reheat our houses from a colder starting point. Won't be long before we're a third world country. Anyway the schools are closed because of it and gov't offices closed in our area. Suppose to get some ice this afternoon thru tomorrow morning. It will shut the city down as few have ever driven in anything like this.

Econo - you may be joking a bit but probably not a bad idea in the future if he doesn't respond as well as you'd like.

Happy belated birthday Fred.

ez couple miles tomorrow and then off to run a big 10K in Edinburg TX. Forecast for them Saturday morning is 30 degrees and they're not too far from the Mexican border. They'll be frozen stiff down there.
