6.1M on the TM yesterday gave me the highest monthly total I've had in 6 months - coming in at 95.5 miles. Jeesh. Between tooth issues, break-in issues, storm damage issues, and general wear-and-tear breaks before/after half marathons and such, I have not hit a 100 mile-month since October. Grr. Must work on that!

Tonight will be another 5 or so on the TM.

Morning all. CONGRATULATIONS RACERS and GETTING BACK OUT THERE Folks :)

I ran about half of what I hoped to over the weekend, but faster than I expected, so I'm calling it even:) I finally got new shoes (Asics Kayano) and my first set of superfeet. It was still wet out, so I ran in the old shoes with the superfeet in them. New shoes should get a debut tomorrow.

I've been experimenting with the miCoach app. I think it will be good for me to get in to some more quality type work until I pick a next race and start an official plan.

Elliptical and arms with laps on the track between sets.

it's been available for iphone for awhile, and just came out on droid in May. Basically you do a 12 minute assessment run based on effort, then it sets your pace ranges. Then you can select a training plan and it will use those ranges to give you verbal commands to speed up or slow down to hit the paces. It's a free app, and you don't have to have any other equipment besides the smartphone. I heard about it several months ago from a iphone user and have had additional iphone envy ever since. Worth a try for me!
