<p>figured i'd start this thread, since i'm sure that there are a number of us here who feel similarly. those 45 y/o and younger kids just don't "get it" when we talk about our training and racing, and those 47 y/o and more oldsters can't really relate either.</p>

<p>it's not that we want to exclude anyone from kickrunners... please feel free to read and post to this thread even if you don't meet the age restrictions. but it just gives us another place: a warmer, fuzzier, happier, more accepting, less tedious, moderately exclusive and with a little snobbier undertone place to post, within this warm, partially fuzzy, sort of accepting, somewhat non-tedious, age-exclusive and pseudo-snobby club on this tiny little internet bulletin board in virtual space that we all know and love called kickrunners.</p>

<p>i'll start:</p>
<p>26mi today, with 20x300m track repeats on the indoor track. heart rate 96, recovering to 63 during 30s rest intervals. then i trained with the olympic boxing team, and spent the afternoon shooting free-throws.</p>
