<p>This is the 40x40 thread for those who run at least 40 miles per week and are over 40. This is a great motivational thread and free passes are given out generously. If you do run a race and post a RR, I'll try to link it in here.</p>
<p><br><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><b><span>40x40 for the week:</span></b></span><br><b>Dennis -</b> <strong>40.5 m</strong>. - 31 out of 32 weeks reaching 40 miles.</p>
<div style="text-align:left;"><strong><strong>Econo</strong> - 45.5 m. -</strong> Trails, 400's and a 17 miler. Great week of training.</div>
<div style="text-align:left;"><strong>Paul</strong> - <strong>54.2 m</strong>. - Includes a 10, 11.7 & 18 miler. You are an amazing runner.</div>
<div style="text-align:left;"><strong>Rassmussenmp - 58 m. -</strong> Recovery week. Last week - Frank Maier Marathon in 3:37:48. <img alt="" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/notworthy.gif" style="width:29px;height:15px;" title=""></div>

<p>The Ukranians have another high-mileage (and high intensity, eek) week mapped out for me.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Mon: 3.5</p>
<p>Tue: 6.7 with some intervals, which were actually quite slow (as prescribed) and thus quite easy and fun.  Plus core.</p>
<p>Wed:  8 hillage</p>
<p>Thu: 6 with some easy speed (again)</p>
<p>Fri: 3.5 with little speedlets</p>
<p>Sat: 1 mile + 10K race</p>
<p>Sun:  12 slow</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Total:  <strong>46.9,</strong> woohoo!</p>

<p>Like <strong>Econo</strong>, I have a high mileage week planned out. We'll see how it goes.</p>

<p>Recovery week still, so slow and easy miles.  Adding a few more of those miles.</p>

<p>Mon:  rest <strong><em>- nice deep tissue massage..  ahhh it hurts sooo good.</em></strong></p>
<p> </p>
<p>Tues:  9 miles <strong><em>- 10.0 miles including 2 miles @ MP, mostly aerobic paced.</em></strong></p>

<p>Wed:  12 miles <strong><em>- 12.0 miles all slow and fairly easy.</em></strong></p>
<p> </p>
<p>Thurs:  5-7 miles <strong><em>- 10.0 miles, legs felt very good, so...  5 miles @ MP.  slow and easy tomorrow.</em></strong></p>
<p>    So much for the recovery week, legs don't seem to need it.  Guess I didn't beat myself up to much.</p>

<p>Fri:  9 miles <b><i>- 7.0 miles at recovery pace. </i></b></p>
<p> </p>
<p>Sat:  10 miles <i><b>- 10.2 miles along a hilly route.  good run, maybe just a tad to hard on the ups and downs. </b></i></p>

<p>Sun:  16 miles <b><i>- AM: 6.0 miles, didn't sleep well, legs and body just drained.  will try a double today.</i></b></p>
<p><b><i>                             PM: 10.0 miles, little better this evening but kept it at a recovery pace.</i></b></p>
