<p>This is the 40x40 thread for those who run at least 40 miles per week and are over 40. This is a great motivational thread and free passes are given out generously. If you do run a race and post a RR, I'll try to link it in here.</p>
<div style="text-align:left;"><br><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><b><span>40x40 for the week:</span></b></span><br><b>Dennis -</b> 40.2 m. Some good runs and a couple not so good runs.</div>
<div style="text-align:left;"><strong>Econo</strong> - 40.8 m. - Strong week, includes two 10 milers and an 11.1 mile run.</div>
<div style="text-align:left;"><strong>Paul</strong> - 50 m. - 5 runs add up fast for Paul. Had a 10.7, 11.3 and 12 miler.<br><b>Peter -</b> 40.47 m. - Yet another runner that had 3 runs over 10 miles this week.</div>
<div style="text-align:left;"><b>Rassmussenmp - <span style="display:none;"> </span></b><b>60.3 m. - Includes a 12 & 17 miler.</b></div>
<div style="text-align:left;"><span style="display:none;"> </span><br><b><span><span style="text-decoration:underline;">FREE PASSES:</span></span></b><br><b>Ripvanracer -</b> 26.43 m. - Includes a Masters PR for a 4 miler in an extremely fast 23:20.</div>

<p>I should be back around 40 this week with only one race planned for next weekend.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>sun-10 miles including a 31:11 5 mile race</p>
<p>mon-9 hilly miles in 64:14...80° and 80% humidity</p>
<p>tue-off</p>
<p>wed-9.25 more hilly miles 67:30...88° and who cares about the humidity when it is that hot!!</p>
<p>thu-6.86 miles in 46:55  another sauna</p>
<p>fri-off</p>
<p>sat-4.75 warmup for 5k.  Race cancelled</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Ended the week with 39.86 miles JUST missing 40 when the 5k was cancelled.</p>

<p>This week still finds me in Japan, but will be flying home on Friday.  Taper week for next week's marathon in Juneau.</p>

<p>Mon:  7 miles <strong><em>- 8 miles aerobic paced, very H&H</em></strong></p>
<p> </p>
<p>Tues:  4 miles <strong><em>- 5 miles recovery</em></strong></p>
<p> </p>
<p>Wed:  8 miles <strong><em>- 11 miles aerobic paced, H&H, by the end my feet felt like I was running in pools for shoes </em></strong></p>
<p> </p>
<p>Thurs:  5 miles <strong><em>- 6 miles very sweaty recovery paced.</em></strong></p>
<p> </p>
<p>Fri:  5 miles (fly home to WA) <strong><em>- 5.0 miles, easy, legs very tired from the flight</em></strong></p>
<p> </p>
<p>Sat:  13 miles - <strong><em>6.5 miles including some @ 7:30 pace.  turnover felt slow. </em></strong></p>
<p> </p>
<p>Sun:  6 miles <strong><em>- 14.0 miles very nice run in the cooler temps of WA (78 degrees vice 85) and lower humidity (55% vice 90%) very enjoyable and a little faster paced up and down rolling hills.</em></strong></p>
