<p>This is the 40x40 thread for those who run at least 40 miles per week and are over 40. This is a great motivational thread and free passes are given out generously. If you do run a race and post a RR, I'll try to link it in here.</p>
<div style="text-align:left;"><br><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><b><span>40x40 for the week:</span></b></span><br><b>Dennis -</b> 43.25 m. Good first week of training for Ft Wayne Half Marathon.<br><b>Peter -</b> 41.39 m. - 4 runs, LR of 12 miles.</div>
<div style="text-align:left;"><b>Rassmussenmp -</b> 65 m. - 5800 miles flying - Includes LR's of 16 & 15 miles.<br><b>Ripvanracer -</b> 41.17 m - Includes 2 5 mile races in 31:30 & 31:15.<br><br><b><span><span style="text-decoration:underline;">FREE PASSES:</span></span></b><br><strong>Econo</strong> - Being cautious not to aggravate a quad injury.</div>
<div style="text-align:left;"><strong>Paul</strong> - 29 miles. Traveling interferred with running.</div>

<p>I need a pass for last week, travel inteferred and I only ran 29 miles. This week should be much better.</p>

<p>M - travel</p>
<p>T - 8.8 miles</p>
<p>W - rest day</p>
<p>Th - 12 miles</p>
<p>F - 7.2 miles</p>
<p>Sa - 10.7 miles</p>
<p>Su - 11.3 miles</p>

<p>wed-6 miles including 19:35 trail 5k</p>

<p>fri-12 miles including 23:20 4 mile race</p>

<p>Ended the week with 26.43 miles and a huge masters 4 mile pr.</p>

<p>Ohhh!  I'm almost there!  Last week, if I count every 10 minutes swimming and spinning (at a decent HR) as a mile, I did log just over 40 "miles".  But this week my quad is good enough for cautious, gentle miles:</p>

<p>Mon: 0</p>
<p>Tue: 10</p>
<p>Wed: 0</p>
<p>Thu: 11.1</p>
<p>Fri: 6</p>
<p>Sat: 3.7</p>
<p>Sun: 10</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Total:  <strong>40.8!</strong>  I did it!</p>

<p>Mon:  6.0 miles at a nice easy pace in high humidity.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Tues:  12.0 miles quicker pace, hot and humid, sweated like a pig and finished in a downpour.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Wed:  5.0 miles early morning recovery pace</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Thurs:  6.0 miles recovery pace</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Fri:  8.0 miles early morning but still hot and humid.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Sat:  17.3 miles long run including 4 hilles (350 ft)  and one hill (250 ft).  watched to sun come up over the Sasebo Bay, beautiful vistas and past several small fishing villages.  wonderful run.</p>

<p>Sun:  6.0 miles recovery pace.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>total:  60.3 miles<span style="display:none;"> </span></p>
