<p>This is the 40x40 thread. To qualify: Be at least 40 years old and run 40 miles per week. This is a great motivational thread and free passes are given out generously. If you do run a race and post a RR, I'll try to link it in here.</p>

<div style="text-align:left;"><strong>Dennis</strong> - 40 m. - 47th time this year hitting 40 miles. Climbed back to 2000 miles this year.</div>

<p>I'm alittle late this week. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Hope everyone had a great and wonderful Christmas or other holiday.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Mon:  6 miles recovery</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Tues:  8 miles including 6 x 1/2 mile (3:30 ave) with 6 x 1/4 mile (2:07 ave)</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Wed:  7 miles recovery</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Thrus:  8 miles including 5 miles @ MP (7:30 pace)</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Fri:  6.5 miles recovery</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Sat:  6 miles recovery</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Sun:  8 miles plus drive to Wenatchee, WA for Sunday night before heading up the road for 4 days at Leavenworth, Wa.  Plenty of snowshoeing, wine tasting, cross country skiing, wine tasting, snow mobiling, wine tasting..  maybe a sleigh ride too...</p>

<p>Total:  49.5 miles</p>

<p>Next week will not be over 40 miles - lots of rest and cross training in wine tasting/drinking awaits.<span style="display:none;"> </span></p>

<p>totals: 32.8 miles</p>
