This is the 40x40 thread. To qualify: Be at least 40 years old and run 40 miles per week. This is a great motivational thread and free passes are given out generously. If you do run a race and post a RR, I'll try to link it in here.

Thanks Dennis

Finally back at home for a few weeks. I can get back to some sort of training schedule. Well, more or less of a recovery schedule.

Mon: 6 miles - 7.0 miles at a nice aerobic pace with 1.5 miles @ MP. legs feeling very good today.

Tues: 7 miles - 8.0 miles recovery pace

Wed: 6 miles - 7.0 miles including an imprompto 6 x 1/2 mile (3:45, 3:41, 3:37, 3:35, 3:33, 3:30) with 6 x 1/4 miles interval (2:07 ave). very good quicky run, so soon after two marathons, legs feeling pretty good.

Thurs: 8 miles - 7.0 miles nice easy recovery pace

Fri: 5 miles - 5.0 miles recovery pace

Sat: 5 miles - extra rest day

Sun: 10 miles 12.0 miles aerbic paced on the TM.. Lots of heavy rain (over 6 inches in the past 36 hours). So stayed home and watch football while I ran..

total: 46.0 miles
